Instead, they charged my card and now I have over $500 pending which will destroy my bank balance. Who the hell do these guys think they are? TO HELL WITH YOU DIRECT TV! I hereby recommend going with some other dish provider or just switching to cable and waving goodbye to their technical failures, poor programming packages, and rotten business practices. Cable might not be that much better in terms of sneaky bundle pricing, but at least they work with you when it comes to finances. FUCK YOU DIRECT TV! MAY YOU ALL ROT IN HELL! Direct TV. This is an unbelieavable way for a company to make or in this case steal money from customers. At least with Dish Network I don't get blasted out of the room with Directv commercials and I have the VS. channel. When I requested a new box, they renewed my contract for 2 more years without my knowledge. No advance warning by customer representative. I had to pay out $420 to cancel my account. (By the way, they are getting all their equipment back so the $420 is just a nice little parting shot). Never, ever, EVER again will I be a directv customer. Absolutely true.
